The current market situation of Estonian consulting engineering companies is quite strong, but geopolitical situation creates uncertainty for the future.

The latest Industry Barometer from the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA) shows that the recovery, expected in the spring, has materialised: overall, staff number increased markedly as well as order stock, turnover and profitability. The currently largest challenge for the consultancy and engineering industry in Europe is the shortage of staff.

The virtual 2020 General Assembly Meeting of the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA), held on 4 June 2020, elected Benoît Clocheret as President.

The EFCA Barometer Task Group carried out a ‘COVID-19’ survey. 20 national associations, including Estonia (EAACEC), participated in the survey.

General Assembly Meeting of European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations, held in Dublin on 9 May, approved Estonian association EAACEC as a full member of the EFCA. EAACEC Board Member Mr. Maidu Saar and Chief Executive Mr. Kalle Karron participated in the annual meeting.
